How to use Pabbly Connect with Prefinery

Prefinery has native integration support with different apps, and for more complex integrations you can use Zapier and Webhooks. You can even run your own scripts to capture submitted data.

Much like Zapier, Integrately, Make and Sync Spider, Pabbly Connect is an online integration platform that allows you to automate processes between two or more services, sending information from one to the other.

With both Prefinery's and Pabbly Connect's native webhook support, you can connect your Prefinery campaign to other 3rd-party tools using Pabbly Connect.

Here's how:

Note: While our integration options provide you with lots of information you can send to a connected 3rd-party service, it is NOT recommended to sync the waitlist/leaderboard position to other systems.

Using Prefinery Trigger

1

From your Pabbly Connect dashboard, click on Create Workflow in the top-right corner.

In the popup modal that appears, enter a name for your workflow (best practice is to state the trigger/event and which app does it, then the action/effect and which app does it). Click Create to proceed to the workflow editor.

2

In the workflow editor, for the Trigger choose Prefinery as the app, set trigger event to User Created, then copy the Webhook URL

Click on the Capture Webhook Response button and wait until it turns to Waiting For Webhook Response. You'll be referring to this in a later step to check if you've properly connected Prefinery to Pabbly Connect.

For a full list of triggers (and actions) available for Prefinery in Pabbly Connect, check out: Prefinery Integrations

3

In your Prefinery project dashboard, follow our guide on using webhooks to add Pabbly Connect's webhook URL.

After pasting in the Webhook URL, make sure to set the correct Event (must match the Prefinery trigger event in Pabbly Connect) then click Add

After adding the webhook URL, click on its Test button to confirm that you've added it properly. If all's good, a notification message will appear telling you that Pabbly Connect returned a response code of HTTP 200 which means you're pretty much set from Prefinery's end.

4

Back in Pabbly Connect, you'll also find that the webhook response from Prefinery has been captured successfully.

Click Save and you'll get the below success message.

Your Prefinery trigger is all set! Click on  OK to proceed with setting up the rest of your workflow (e.g. adding the newly created user to your other app).
