What Triggers a Share?

When someone visits their friend's unique referral link and lands on your website, a Share will be recorded and attributed to the owner of the referral link. 

In order for the Share to be properly recorded, please ensure that you have installed the Prefinery JavaScript snippet at the Referral URL. For example, if you have defined your Referral URL as https://yoursite.com/prelaunch then you would need the Prefinery JavaScript snippet installed on the /prelaunch page of your site.
