Why have submissions stopped coming in?
The following is a list of possible reasons why submissions have stopped coming in for your project:
- Timezone - it could be due to night time or low-traffic period
- Downtime on your website/page that your form is embedded at
- Saturation - you've reached the limit to how many people are interested in your product/service
- Other external events that may have taken potential users' attention away from your campaign (e.g. bad press, new competition, etc.)
- Uncoordinated changes made to the campaign by one or more team member - check and confirm with your team members if anything was changed on the page/website and on the Prefinery dashboard during this period (e.g. embedded form was temporarily removed, page URL was changed/404'ed, etc.)
- Prefinery downtime - we have a status page you can refer to, though downtime on our end is incredibly rare as we strive for 100% uptime
- Massive spike in traffic for other project(s) and our background workers are experiencing high latency - in this scenario when a user is added to the campaign, we queue up adding them to our search index (for display in your project UI) in the background. If that task is experiencing latency, then the submission showing up in your project UI may be delayed. Note that while this is happening the end user experience is NOT affected at all (ie. the user is already in the database and have already been provided their referral link)
